Tiffany Benson has been a medical aesthetician for more than a decade. Although her love of skincare stems from childhood, she made the decision to transition into the field of medical aesthetics with a focus on trauma inflicted injuries. Her goal is to instill body positivity and boost self-esteem through aesthetics and permanent makeup.
A Dancer at Heart
Tiffany started dancing and gymnastics at the age of 2. As a ballerina and gymnast she loved traveling for competitions and being on stage. After a knee injury in her teens, she was forced to switch her focus. Rehab introduced her to Pilates, which she fell in love with and continued for years.
She went on to graduate from CSUN with a BS in Psychology but her heart always belonged to dance. She found happiness teaching dance for years while continuing with Pilates in her spare time. Eventually, she pursued a career in the legal field where she was a litigation paralegal for 17 years. While she excelled, her heart just wasn't in it. She soon found her new passion was in aesthetics.
Aloha Spirit
In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys doing Pilates, spending time with her bestie and traveling with her husband and son. “Growing up, my sister and I spent most of our summers in Hawai’i visiting family and soaking in the Aloha spirit (we're Native Hawaiian, Filipina and Caucasian but always mistaken for everything BUT Hawaiian Filipina). Even my nephew, niece, and son look Caucasian, so my husband and I decided we would continue the tradition of island trips every summer so he will grow up knowing more about that side of his family. That’s something that’s very important to me. Plus you can’t beat Hawaiian food!”
Life After Trauma
After a traumatic, life-altering event that she should not have survived, Tiffany's focus in life changed. Years of continued healing and recovery have led her down a path to help others who have faced their own traumatic events and are on a path to healing and feeling safe, self-confident, and beautiful inside and out.
Opening a medical spa to help others became her passion. She knows first hand the struggles of fear and anxiety after trauma and how hard it is to trust again, even in everyday situations like venturing out to the grocery store. She believes that everyone deserves to feel safe and loved, which does not come easy after trauma.
Tiffany wanted to put her talents to use and help others find their own way back to the things she use to love and take for granted. She believes everyone should experience a facial or a non invasive treatment in a safe, welcoming, one-on-one environment, regardless if they suffer from trauma. Having first hand knowledge of the triggers and fears of being touched or even stepping out into public led her to open Tickled Pink Aesthetics. She offers aesthetic services at affordable prices to help your healing and wellness journey.
"I believe EVERYONE who has survived trauma deserves to feel safe in returning to their routines. Your mind may chose to forget but the body never does. I understand that I’m not for everyone and that is perfectly fine. But, for those out there who are scared or needs someone who understands their fragile position and longs for the safety and touch they can trust, please take that leap of faith. Come in for a consultation and just talk. No expectations.
For 16 years, I wished I had someone to help me feel comfortable in my own skin. I am finally able to use all my knowledge, training, psychology, and therapy to open my Med spa to offer services I’m great at while helping others. It’s a wonderful feeling to make someone else smile and feel beautiful and that's what I'd love to do for you!"
